Last week Eureka Taxis Western Victoria Pty Ltd (Eureka Taxis Ballarat) was made aware of serious allegations made against A2B Transport who are owners of 13Cabs, Silver Service and Cabcharge.

The allegations in questions ran across in The Age newspaper on the 15/02/2025 an 16/02/25 as well as the documentary by Nick McKenzie (from 60 minutes Australia) on 16/02/2025.

Eureka Taxis Ballarat wants to make it abundantly clear that we have no affiliation with A2B Transport, 13Cabs or Silver Service other than utilizing their Cabcharge payment terminals for purposes of processing eftpos and cabcharge payments.

Eureka Taxis have built our company with “Morals and Ethics”, treating our customers with dignity and respect no matter what race, gender and/or disability.

We do not condone the behaviour or affiliate the behaviour that has been portrayed on 60 minutes.

Further Eureka Taxis does not stand for the overcharging or rorting of customers via any payment means, whether that be Cash, Credit Card, Cabcharge or NDIS. Eurek Taxis has systems and processes in place via a daily audit / monitoring to ensure our drivers are doing the right thing.

If any of our drivers are found to be doing this, the driver in question will be instantly suspended and dismissed from our organisation and the incident will be reported to the regulator.

In light of the information portrayed in this broadcasted vision on 60 Minutes Australia by a 13Cabs Driver our limited affiliation with A2B / Cabcharge is now under review.
